Warhammer 40k Astra Militarum Leman Russ Vanquisher Tank. Model completed 2016.
Named ‘Old Charger’ this tank is modeled and painted to look like it has seen a lot of war. Battle damage and mud were added, and the commander has sweat stains on his uniform. The scheme is from my own army, with the Guard’s armour units being from the 12th Yarkvan Armoured Corps.
I’ve tried to make it look like a lived in tank, with Ork heads and a skull on the front, kit hanging from the sides etc. I added a coaxial Autocannon barrel, and plan to add more equipment to the hull as I go, as well as a pintle mounted weapon.
